Another art project and another entry for the Multi-Cultural Art Show in a couple weeks; turns out we got an extension to submit more art because apparently there were only like, 2 entries. Including my other one. XDD; So all that freaking out over the last project was for nothing I guess rofl.
The criteria for this was I had to put a checkerboard into perspective and it had to be a collage. Most people went the traditional route, but that was boring to me. I had to do this my own way. |3; Oh, and I went with  's color scheme for this project because of her earth-tone colors. So credit on that goes to her. <3 (No, the contest is still going. XD; )...And yes, that's a palm tree under the Canadian flag. Inside joke. |3; Character and Art:  PS- Finally got my computer back and running, and as for my lack of Photoshop problem, my dad bought me a shiny new copy of Photoshop CS4! <3 Aaaaaaaand it was $700. XD; I'm not allowed to ask for any birthday gifts for the next five years. |D;;; |

alway, I love the concept, with the flags and a picture of the country in the background.
I think that you went overboard on the "OMG SPARKLES DESU~", especially the background. Her hand also looks weird. It's just something about it....but I don't know.
Her mouth is also a little odd.

Yeah, I tend to overdo the sparkles. |3; There were originally just stars but then I wanted there to be sparkles kinda following the Earth and I guess it clashed with the stars that were already there. owo; I'll try to lighten up next time. XDD;
As for her hand, I'm not quite sure either, but it's hard to draw her hands when I gave her those weird proportions. XD; Plus she has only four fingers and her thumb's hidden. owo;;; Probably doesn't help much rofl.
